Facebook users statistics, made official in charge IPO, certainly impressive. While not exactly new or surprising, facebooks '845 million monthly active users, 483 million active users daily.
But it turns out that the definition of Facebook users are "active" is not necessarily your definition of active users. Facebook counted as active users who click on the button like or interact in any way with Facebook but do not always visit the site.
Anyone who actively "like" something might be going to visit the site at least once a month. The bigger problem is with daily active users. It is quite possible that someone who likes video on the site may not visit the site on that day.
The problem is, for now, that Facebook only with user interaction on the site, but not across the web.
