Today, Research In Motion began to give a sense of the new OS to its owner's manual BlackBerry tablet PC, the OS 2.0.

BlackBerry Playbook tablet owners will be able either to download the new OS flavor immediately, or to delay the process.
If they choose to download the updates, they should know that the guidelines should reboot to the new software to be installed. The device will ask them when the restart is required.
Those who plan to upgrade their tablets should make sure they are saved each file that they do. Backup of all data on the device is a great idea too.
They must also ensure that the battery in this device is full or that the guidelines are attached, so it will have enough juice to get through the installation process.
Users who have just bought the device will be presented with the option to install a new OS version during the initial setup process.
Provided that a notice saying it does not appear on the guidelines, users will also be able to do a manual search for it.
For that, they will need to touch the Accessories icon in the upper right corner, select Software Update, and then hit the Check for Updates. If an update is available, users will have the option to start the download will.
After installation guidelines OS 2.0 has been completed, a new customizable home screen will appear, with a new icon dock that can accommodate up to six applications and games.
There is also a new icon panel incorporated into the mix, offering users the option to create multiple panels and folders so that they can keep better organized applications.
