How to Jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on Linux

The following tutorial will teach all Linux users how to jailbreak their Apple iPhone 4S and Apple iPad 2 devices.

As you all know, the Chronic Dev Team finally released the highly anticipated version of Absinthe jailbreak tool for the Linux platform. With Absinthe users can easily untether jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPad 2 devices powered by the Apple A5 chip.

With today's tutorial we will teach you, step by step, how to jailbreak an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 device on Linux.

Requirements:

· iPhone 4S with firmware 5.0/5.0.1
· iPad 2 with firmware 5.0/5.0.1
· libimobiledevice
· Absinthe

ATTENTION: Make sure you backup your device before jailbreak! Read everything carefully, twice! We are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind of your iDevice.

Step 1 - Download and Install libimobiledevice

If you are on Ubuntu 10.10 or Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, hit the CTRL+ALT+T key combination on your keyboard and paste the following command in the terminal window:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pmcenery/ppa

Input your password and hit Enter when asked. Next, paste the following command to install the libimobiledevice required library.

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install libimobiledevice

Other Ubuntu users can download the libimobiledevice 1.0.6 source archive required library from its official homepage. Place the archive on your home folder and extract it. Open a terminal window and type the following commands:

sudo apt-get install -y build-essential automake autoconf gettext libusbmuxd-dev libglib2.0-dev libgnutls-dev libplist-dev libplist++-dev python-dev
cd ~/libimobiledevice-1.0.6
./configure prefix=/usr
make
sudo make install

ATTENTION: When the installation is over, reboot your computer! After the restart, your Apple devices should be recognized by your Linux distribution.

Editor's note: Mandriva, Fedora, Debian and openSUSE users can find installation instruction on libimobiledevice's official website.

Step 2 - Download and run Absinthe

You can grab a copy of Absinthe jailbreak tool right now from here.

It's a tar.gz archive so just extract it on your home folder. Enter the directory and run the x86 or x86_64 (depending on your architecture) executable by double-clicking it.

Step 3 - Connect your iPhone 4S or iPad 2

ATTENTION: Make sure that your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 device has iOS 5.0 or iOS 5.0.1, the battery is charged over 50% and that it is connected to the computer via the USB cable! Not meeting these requirements will result in a failure!

Once connected, Absinthe will immediately detect your device...

Step 4 - Jailbreak your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 device

All you have to do now is to click the "Jailbreak" button and wait for the Absinthe tool to do its job. You can also watch the jailbreak progress on your device. DO NOT PUSH ANY BUTTONS!

When the progress bar on the Absinthe tool is complete, and the Absinthe icon appears on your device, launch it to complete the jailbreak process.

When Absinthe finished the jailbreak process, reboot the device and you'll see the Cydia icon on your iDevice's home screen, which means that the jailbreak process is over. See the video above for more details!

How to Install Firefox 10 in Ubuntu 11.10 and 11.04

The following tutorial will teach you all the Ubuntu 11:10 (OCELOT Oneiric) and Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) users to update their systems to the Web browser Mozilla Firefox 10.0.

Mozilla Firefox 10 will bring features such as the implementation of the Anti-Aliasing for WebGL, forward button hidden by default and will be active when you navigate back, the implementation of the API Full Screen to easily build a full-screen web applications, support for CSS3 3D-Transform, CSS properties support , <bdi> element for bi-directional isolation HTML5 text, CSS Style Inspector, and IndexedDB API.
No matter what operating system you are running (Ubuntu 11.10 or Ubuntu 11.04), hit the CTRL+ALT+T key combination on your keyboard, and paste the following command in the terminal window:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-next

Enter your password when asked and hit the Enter key. Hit Enter again when asked. Now paste the following command:

sudo apt-get update

Wait for the update command to finish indexing the repositories. Do NOT close the terminal window. Proceed to the next step!

Step 2 - Install Firefox 10.0 in Ubuntu 11.10 or Ubuntu 11.04

To install the Mozilla Firefox 10.0 web browser in Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) or Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) and update your current version, paste the following command in the terminal window.

sudo apt-get install firefox

When you will be asked if you want to install the Firefox 10 packages, type Y and hit the Enter key. Wait for the installation to finish and close the terminal window.

That's it! The new Mozilla Firefox 10.0 is now fully installed in your Ubuntu machine. You'll need to restart Firefox for the changes to take effect.

Firefox 10.0 on Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot)

How to Move Ubuntu Window Buttons To Right Side

The following tutorial will teach all Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Ubuntu 10.10, Ubuntu 11.04 and Ubuntu 11.10 users how to move the window buttons to the right side.

At the request of many of our readers, we've created the following tutorial to teach them how to easily move the window buttons from left to right side in the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx), Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat), Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) and Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) operating systems.

For Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Ubuntu 10.10 and Ubuntu 11.04 it was possible to move the buttons to right side with many methods, including Ubuntu Tweak and Gnome-Art Manager, or manually from GConf Editor.

However, because the switch to the GNOME 3 desktop environment, starting with Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) the above mentioned methods are obsolete. The only viable method at this time is through a little software called Metacity Window Buttons.

Created by developer Pablo Seminario, Metacity Window Buttons (or Mwbuttons for short) is small tool to easily configure the position and availability of the buttons on the Metacity window.

Step 1 - Download and install Metacity Window Buttons

No matter what Ubuntu operating system you are running, download the Metacity Window Buttons from Softpedia, here, and place it on your desktop.

Once the download is over, double click the file, wait for Ubuntu Software Center to start and install the package...

When you will be asked for your password, type it in and wait for the installation to finish...

Close Ubuntu Software Center when it's done.

Step 2 - Move the window buttons to right side!

Metacity Window Buttons is now fully installed in your Ubuntu machine and can be started from the Applications -> Accessories menu or searched in the Unity Dash.

Once the application is started you can immediately and instantly change the position of the window buttons by manually selecting which buttons to place on the right side and which on the left side, or by going to the Setttings -> Karmic Style preset option.

Sementara buat XL, telkomsel, indosat, three dan smartfren udah saya share..
Alasan Trik Internet Gratis Axis jarang diupadte karena si Axis ini pelit bgt ma kita2 semua. .
Jadi upreak2 pun sering'a gagal..
Tapi untuk kali ini dijamin work deh gan. .
Hehe,,

Daripada penasaran. .
Mending ke TKP aja yuk, buat nikmatin Trik Internet Gratis PC axis update November ini..!

Download Konfigurasi axisnya Disini
Pertama, buka dulu file konfigurasi Axis yang sudah di extract,,
kemudian buka dengan notepad lalu copy.
Langkah selanjutnya adalah buka Proxomitron..
klik file klik load config file klik level 1 open dengan notepad klik maximize lalu hapus data di file level 1 ganti/paste dengan configurasi yang baru klik abort tunggu 20 detik kemudian buka browser Mozilla atau K-Meleon ganti proxy ke manual dengan:
HTTP: 127.0.0.1
port: 8080
klik ok silahkan browsing dan download sepuasnya,..

catatan:
Jika trik Axis kadang macet,
maka cobalah buka -control menu/panel > network connection > dial up (bluetooth DUN Connection/Modem) > properties >networking > advanced >hilangkan centang pada use default gateway on remote network > klik Ok> ok> ok

Cara meletakkan Iklan Adsense pada Postingan blogger

Alhamdulillah ya sesuatu :D.. Pada postingan blogger kali ini saya (Dedi Satria)_~~Narsis dikit~~ akan bagi-bagi tips pada teman-teman blogger yang memiliki akun Adsense yaitu Cara meletakkan Iklan Adsense pada Postingan blogger. Agar dapat menghasilkan klik yang banyak usahakan iklan Adsense berada sedekat mungkin dengan potingan kita (itu menurut sumber yang saya baca :D). Langsung saja saya akan menjelaskan cara meletakkan iklan google adsense pada postingan (bukan maksud menggurui, cuma pengen berbagi tips aja. maaf ya para ~~monster~~ master SEO).

1. Langkah pertama yang harus teman lakukan adalah ~~foto copy KTP~~ sign in ke akun Adsense teman.
2. Kemudian copy Unit kode yang ingin diletakkan dekat postingan ke notepad.
3. Lalu kode tadi harus diparse dulu pada web ini >> (http://www.blogcrowds.com/resources/parse_html.php) 4. after that paste code tadi pada field yang tersedia.>> Klik PARSE
5. Sementara itu Sign in ke blogger > Template > Edit HTML (jangan lupa beri centang/ceklist pada Expand Widget Templates)
6.Tekan Ctrl+F dan find kode berikut:

Jika anda ingin memasang Adsense di dalam postingan blogspot tepat di bawah judul, maka paste kode Adsense teman tadi di atas <data:post.body/>, sedangkan jika ingin iklan tampil di bawah postingan, pasang script Adsense di bawah <data:post.body/>.
Tambahkan <div style=’float:???;’> untuk menentukan alignment iklan Adsense sobat. float:left agar iklan tampil di kiri, float:center untuk posisi iklan di tengah, dan float:right untuk posisi iklan di kanan.

7. Save template

NB : Langkah di atas bisa saja berbeda dengan susunan template teman. Namun pada umumnya seperti yang saya jelaskan barusan :)

Netbooks are small laptops slow processor and a physical keyboard works with Windows or Linux, but the tablets are thinner netbooks, it lacks a physical keyboard and runs on an Apple iPhone OS / Android operating system. I like the tablets must-have gadgets that can be used for entertainment and work. Apple's App Store and Android applications, Markets offers almost everything you can easily connect with your friends and play with them.

What is best for you?

It is never easy to make the right decision, but here are a few things before you consider buying a tablet or netbook -

1. Battery backup - boards offer best battery backup as netbooks.

Second Start time - pills are usually in standby mode and not take any time to start while netbooks often takes 2-3 minutes to boot and load Windows.

3. Price - Netbooks are cheaper as tablets, pills, but the price is justified by its characteristics.

Blog Wars: Impact of WordPress, Tumblr and Blogger

When I started my blogging career, most people would start with a blog created on Blogger.com and then move it to WordPress self-hosted.
The trend was Blogger.com was the first choice for new bloggers while WordPress was adopted by bloggers with more experience.
That trend is changing and more people are using WordPress or Tumblr. WordPress.com according to Compete.com is miles ahead of Blogger and Tumblr, when it unique visitors are considered (see graph below).

These number do not include self-hosted WordPress blogs; but only the ones on WordPress.com. It is amazing to see it has numbers that are double if not more than other blogging platforms consistently for over the last two years.

RISE OF TUMBLR

It also shows the rise of tumblr being adopted as a blogging platform by many. It had less than 4 million unique visitors and today it’s around 15 million. Tumblr has some fantastic social features which has given it huge numbers when page views are taken into account it dominates WordPress and Blogger.(see graph below).

Tumblr has over a billion page views when compared to WordPress.com’s 200 million page views. This shows tumblr is doing a brilliant job of engaging readers socially but WordPress doing a better job with search engines. Maybe this is not a battle between platforms as much as it is a battle between social vs. search.

Windows 8 Tips and Tricks

# 1: Keyboard Shortcuts

Windows 8 has been added to some of the latest keyboard shortcuts, to preserve the old.

WIN + Q for the application of research, WIN + W for the search parameters, WIN + F to find files, WIN + I Parameters for the charm, WIN + S to block rotation, WIN + C to open the Start menu simple and time / date, win-win + A + Space to switch keyboard, WIN + SHIFT + C shows the charms touch bar, WIN + Y to look at your desktop, Win + Z shows the application bar.

It supports shortcuts too old - WIN + D active desktop WIN + R opens the race, Win + L locks the user, Win + E opens Explorer.

# 3: Dark Theme

Are you a lover of dark matter? Use the Windows 8 black theme.

Go to Control Panel> Accessibility and turn on high contrast mode to see a theme of black screen at startup.

Double press the mouse or press a key on the keyboard to unlock the lock screen instead of pulling up.

# 7: I recently used applications

Wow! It's fast.

Smack your mouse to the left of the screen to display a thumbnail of the most recently used, then use the scroll wheel to see all open applications today.

# 8: Title Browse Groups

Move the groups of tiles in the splash screen using Page Up and Page Down.

# 9: Tile lock or unlock

Bang! Fall off the screen.

Right click on the tabs on the shield to pin / deselect or remove applications from the tile.

# 10: Old Control

Oops! I threw the wrong file.

History files, a feature built into Windows, offers a simple backup and restore process. Go to System Properties in Control Panel, select the history file and activate it (by default in Windows 8). It requires an additional drive to work.

# 12: Run 64-bit Internet Explorer 10

Open Internet Explorer Go to 10th Internet options menu and select the Security tab. Click the Enable 64-bit mode. Restart your browser.

# 13: Close Metro Applications

Err! Where is the close button?

8 metro Windows applications do not have a Close button. The applications are suspended in the background when you switch. They are automatically killed if you need more system resources.

# 14: Checking weather

A review of weather conditions included helps you to see current weather conditions in the selected city. Click Time to start the application. Right click and select Add city. Enter the name of your nearest city, and select from the list when it appears.

# 15: hibernation or sleep

Suspend or sleep mode is not available on Windows 8 by default. To restore them, to launch the applet Power Management (powercfg.cpl) and click on "Choose what the power buttons do" in the left panel. If you see "Change settings that are not available in the current" link, click it. Check the sleep and hibernate options. Click Save Changes.

# 16: Auto-Login

You will not see the login screen most? Type Netplwiz Run dialog box and press Enter. It sets up the user accounts dialog. Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" and click OK. Enter the username and password for the account you want to connect automatically. Click OK and reboot.

# 17: Restore the Start menu

Again Mama! I want my old menu.

Run regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer. Double-click RPEnabled, and change 1 to 0 to eliminate Metro, the new Task Manager, Start menu and much more. On the other hand, to RPEnabled to 2 to remove soil, restore the Start menu, but keep most of the other improvements.

# 18: Install from USB

Ah! Combustion is obsolete.

Use the Windows 7 USB / DVD Download Tool to install Windows from a USB memory 8. Direct the program Windows 8 ISO file and create a bootable Windows 8 installer on the USB drive.

# 19: Virtual Machine

Microsoft Hyper-V, a virtualization feature included, you can create and run virtual machines. Run OptionalFeatures.exe choose Hyper-V and click OK to activate it. The Metro-screen, locate and click Hyper-V Manager, the tiles begin to explore its potential.

# 20: Image Password

Go to Control Panel. Click on the Users> Create a password image, so you start. Select a picture and create a combo. You will need to produce the same combination of a login.

# 21: Hide the tape

Windows 8 is a multi-use tape while browsing the file system. If you are not comfortable with it, delete it. Go to Run, type gpedit.msc and press Enter. Go to Computer Configuration> Administrative Templates> Windows Components> Windows Explorer option. Double-click the "Start Windows Explorer with Ribbon minimized", set to Enabled and click OK.

# 22: Mount ISO

Windows 8 now offers integrated support for hosting the ISO file on a virtual drive. Clicking on any of the ISO file, select Install and installed files on a virtual drive.

# 23: Running 16-Bit App

Windows 8 is equipped with an applet that can run any old 16-bit. In order, select Control Panel> 16-bit, and possible.
