- The latest Google Chrome dev for Chromebooks fixes some login issues
Chromebook more adventurous users will be happy to know that updates have been
released to the dev channel, the first since the debut of Chrome 18. This new
release comes with several fixes and improvements, mostly affecting the
performance and stability. There are several security patches as well.
Chrome OS 1625.0.0, which comes with Google Chrome 18.0.1017.3, fixes
login problems faced by previous releases, especially for machines that come
with Chrome 11 or previously built in the Flash plugin has also been updated.
It's not going to be a dev channel release without some known issues.
Google + hanging out does not work, there is only audio, although others will be
able to view streaming your webcam.
Other bugs that affect this release
- the screen is not redrawn sometimes when switching tabs. Temporary fix is to
close all tabs and restart your Chromebook.
